As I’ve been getting back into drawing I’ve been using the app Paper by 53 which by now most people know about. However, as I’ve started looking at light and shade I’ve been getting a bit sick of the limitations in Paper so i decided to have a go at using Procreate to do some lighting studies and BOY IS IT AN AWESOME APP! Layers, rotating, ZOOMING! blending options, customizable brushes, it’s got just about everything I was after which Paper is currently lacking. That is not to say Paper is a bad app, it’s just intentionally very limited by the lack of any zoom option, no colour dropper tool or ability to change brush sizes…..all things that come in handy when you’re not a drawing wizz that can create masterpieces on a single layer.
The style and design consideration throughout this piece is phenomenal!
I can see this as the next Mirror’s Edge if EA ever gets around to it.
Looks like this is a pitch for a potential t.v. series. I’D LOVE TO SEE THIS!!!

This message needs to be heard by those people in China who are willing to pay huge amounts for ivory, seemingly unaware or not caring about the devastation they’re causing to an entire species, and the world as a whole.
